We offer Adult English Courses (15 or 20 hours per week). Progression is the focus and students are evaluated with a placement test on arrival and placed into the correct level. We offer all levels from pre-intermediate to advanced, as well as TIE & Cambridge Preparation Courses.
On course completion, all students receive Individual Academic Feedback and a Certificate of Attainment. Students who require a study visa to enter Ireland can register for a course, including our 1 year (25 weeks tuition) Full-Time English Course, and we will provide the necessary documents for a visa application needed for your English Course in Dublin.
The Irish College of English offers part-time evening English courses for adults and students who wish to improve their English, or who wish to prepare for a Cambridge Examination – such as the CAE or FCE exams at Malahide English Language School in Dublin, Ireland.
During the months of July and August the adult class timetable will be in the afternoon. The focus of these English classes is on communication through spoken and written English. Highly qualified language teachers will set you clear learning objectives and use the best techniques to provide practice in speaking, writing, listening and reading. The course also includes an Irish Culture component, which covers Irish language, traditional music, history and culture. It will provide students with a good knowledge of the people, enabling them to become actively involved with the unique Irish way of life.
We offer friendly and welcoming Irish Host Families with comfortable rooms within walking distance of the English School.

Student feedback attests to this on the Accommodation Programmes.Full board is provided with Breakfast, Packed Lunch and an Evening Meal with emphasis on a nutritious diet. Students become members of the family for the duration of their stay and fit into normal family life, this means socialising and eating with the family.
